Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing

Parrish Fiber Optic Service provides splicing services to the industry for almost any application. We offer inside and outside services for singlemode and multimode fiber. Using profile alignment splicers our technicians can handle the older fiber cable types being spliced to the new generation cable with excellent results. We use self contained splice trailers for outside work providing clean working conditions for the splice operation.
Single of Multimode Cable
Fiber to Fiber, Fiber to Pigtail
Inside or Outside Splicing
Self Contained Splice Trailers
Guaranteed Average Splice Loss of .07db Singlemode, .25db Multimode

End to End Cable

Parrish Fiber Optic Service provides test services including optical loss measurements using calibrated equipment.

OTDR Testing and Evaluation

We provide Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) testing and evaluation of existing systems. Our equipment can provide a laser quality printout of each fiber showing the locations and specific loss of each mechanical or fusion splice in the span. A 3.5" floppy disk with all the information can be archived to be used as a reference against future degradation or cable cuts.

Transmission Equipment Installation and Maintenance

Parrish Fiber Optic Service has the experience and staff to provide installation services for optical transmission equipment. We are certified in Nortel Sonet products as well as older asyncronous terminals from Nortel and Telco Systems. Ancillary equipment such as M13 multiplexors and channel banks is another product we install. Iron work, dc power systems and similar site work is also offered. Transmission Systems and Multiplexers .6Mb/s to 2.4 Gb/s.
